Additional Information
Our loose, white unscented Bath Fizzy Base makes it so simple to sell loose bath fizzy powder or create molded bath bombs, it's up to you!

Before attempting to use this base, please make sure to read all instructions. Use caution when handling melted oils. Do not weigh fragrance oils into plastic containers; use glass or stainless steel. Use gloves when mixing to keep your manicure from getting scratched. Also be sure to prep your muffin pan in advance. To do this, simply cover the muffin pan in plastic wrap. Don’t pull too tightly - you want the plastic wrap to be a little hammock for your bath bombs as they dry.

Directions & Ingredients
International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI):
Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil

Common Name Ingredient Listing (FDA Approved):
Baking Soda, Citric Acid, Corn Starch, Sesame Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Jojoba Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Sweet Almond Oil

Directions:
Melt Butters: Melt butter of your choice in a small microwaveable bowl for about 3 minutes on high power, or until melted, stirring midway through. Alternatively, melt the butter in a double boiler on the stove top. Set aside to cool briefly.
Prep Your Liquids: Mix the liquid colorant or tap water with the isopropyl alcohol.
Combine: Add the butter of your choice and isopropyl alcohol mixture to the bath bomb base in a large mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly using your hands. Check the consistency of the mixture. It should form distinct clumps when squeezed. If it seems too crumbly, add a couple drops of isopropyl alcohol.
Mold: The technique you use to mold your bath bombs depends on which mold you choose. We sell several types of round Bath Bomb Molds. The Perfector is good for making tiny bath bombs quickly. Our Plastic Bath Bomb Molds are a great choice if you want protective displayable packaging for your bath bombs. The rigid plastic also holds the shape of the bath bombs while they dry. Our stainless steel molds are the fastest way to make bath bombs that are perfectly round. Alternatively, you can also use any of our soap molds for other interesting shapes.
Dry:Place the finished bath bombs on a lined muffin pan as you complete them to avoid losing the perfect circular shape. Allow to dry for two hours before moving. Allow to dry for 24 hours before using.

Helpful Suggestions:
For a more emollient effect, add a teaspoon of carrier oil into your batch, then mix in well. We find Avocado or Apricot Kernel oils to be particularly nice to the skin. Experiment with different shapes of Fizzing Bombs using soap molds.
