Handwashing is among the easiest ways to prevent the spread of germs that can cause illness. But, according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), if soap and water are not available, using a hand cleanser with at least 60% alcohol can help you avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others. Many studies have found alcohol based cleansers with a concentration between 60-95% alcohol are more effective at killing germs than those with a lower alcohol concentration or non-alcohol-based cleansers. Practicing proper hand hygiene is the most recommended way to help reduce the risk of infection.

This clear gel evaporates in seconds when applied to the hands and leaves you feeling clean, moisturized and refreshed. Our special blend of moisturizers condition skin to keep hands soft and smooth, even with frequent use.

*Please note that due to raw ingredient shortages, the alcohol for our Rinse Free is now coming from distilleries. Spirits from these distilleries are intended for hard liquor instead of cosmetics or industrial use, so it is food grade and skin-safe but the scent is different from the rubbing alcohol aroma you may be accustomed to. It is the same ethyl alcohol 40 B 190 proof that has always been used in our formula, but the end result may be an odor varying from pineapple or vanilla to moonshine or corn mash, etc. The viscosity and feel may vary between batches as well. The product is just as effective but please keep this in mind when ordering.

Usage: The CDC recommends placing enough product in the palm of the hand to to cover all surfaces and rubbing hands together until they feel dry. Do not apply to heavily soiled hands.

Directions & Ingredients

International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI):
Ethyl Alcohol, Deionized Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Hydroxypropylcellulose, Lauryl Lactate, Myristyl Lactate, Cetyl Lactate, Organic Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Gel, Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E acetate)

Directions:
Use as-is or add Fragrance or Essential oils at a ratio of up to 2%. If cloudiness occurs, let it sit for 24 hrs and the base will usually clear (although each fragrance or essential oil will react differently). A gentle mix will often result in a crystal clear product. A faster mix will introduce air bubbles into the base and will result in a bubbly effect. Add color by using our liquid colorants. The base is a cold mix base, so no heating is necessary. It doesn't get any easier!

COMMENTS: I bought a pound of this for personal use. With Lupus and Crohn's Disease, I am on immune suppressant drugs, so I use a lot of hand sanitizer to help me avoid colds and flu, etc. This stuff is fantastic. It isn't drying, you can scent it to your liking, from light to heavy. I love getting small 1 oz bottles and scenting them all differently to keep in my purse.
