Policies

MINIMUM ORDER
We greatly appreciate all orders & have no minimum.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Checks, Money Orders, and Cashier's Checks. Please allow at least 7-10 additional days for processing with payments made by check, money order or cashier's check. If paying by Paypal ECheck, your order will not ship until payment clears. If paying by check and your payment does not clear, you will be assessed a $25 service fee.

WEBSITE SECURITY: SHOP WITH CONFIDENCE!
We are frequently asked "How secure is your site?". We've been securely serving our customers on the web since 2002 & have taken every precaution to protect your personal details and credit card info by partnering with both GeoTrust and HackerSafe (see security seals on right hand side of screen).
GeoTrust ensures that communications between your browser and our site's web servers are private and secure. Confidential information and transactions cannot be viewed, intercepted or altered by an outside party.
HackerSafe tests and certifies our site daily to pass the McAfee Secure Security Scan. Research indicates sites remotely scanned for known vulnerabilities on a daily basis, can prevent over 99% of hacker crime.
You can see that our site is secure when you click on the "view cart" or "checkout" buttons and the "http" changes to "https". This means you have been transferred to a secure server and any info entered will be encrypted. Credit card numbers are automatically deleted shortly after your order processes.

PRIVACY POLICY
We respect your right to privacy & agree to never share or sell any of your personal information. This info is collected for the sole purpose of our billing, shipping and weekly newsletter (which you may opt out from at any time). No one likes spam & we will protect your personal info!

SHIPPING INFORMATION
Orders will be shipped within 3 business days. We strive for 24 hour turnaround time, but orders can take up to 3 days to ship. Large orders may take additional time & we will notify you if there is any delay. We ship via USPS Priority & UPS. Please remember that our turnaround time for shipping is 1-3 days and the shipping company you choose (UPS or USPS) will also require time to get from our door to yours. Please allow plenty of time when placing your order. Shipments are prepared in the order they are received, but if you pay for an expedited shipping option (other than UPS Ground or USPS Priority), we will work to to get your shipment sent ASAP. We request that you send an email to contactus@elementsbathandbody.com to notify us that an expedited shipping option has been chosen. This does not guarantee that your order will ship immediately, but b/c orders are prepared in the order received, we are sometimes not aware of urgent needs until 24-48 hours after an order has been placed.

Minimum shipping rates are charged at the time your order is placed & will be reflected during checkout. If the shipping rate of your order is over-calculated by $3.50 or more, a refund will be applied to your PayPal or credit card. If the shipping rate of your order is undercalculated by $5.00 or less, you hereby authorize us to charge your credit card for the difference due without first contacting you so we can expedite the shipping process.
International addressed packages shipped via USPS will be assessed a $3.00 handling fee.

SHIPPING INSURANCE, SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION & LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES
Shipping insurance on USPS domestic orders is optional. To request insurance on any USPS order, please make a notation in the Instructions/Comments section when going through the Checkout process & we will charge you for this when your order is ready to ship. USPS will not replace or reimburse for lost or damaged packages that do not have insurance. Elements is not responsible for packages once they have left our facility.

If you would like to require a signature when your package is delivered, please make a note in the Instructions/Comments section during Checkout & we will add this fee to your invoice (typically cost is approx $2.75).

If your package is lost or damaged & you've chosen USPS Priority, but not requested insurance, Elements cannot be responsible to refund or replace the order. UPS automatically offers $100 of insurance on lost or damaged packages. (In most cases, Elements will pay the cost of additional insurance for orders over $100 & we will notify you of any add'l costs prior to shipping.)

USPS PRIORITY DELAYS
Please note that USPS Priority mail does not guarantee a specific delivery time. Usual delivery times are 2-3 days within the US, but if the package is delayed for any reason, this is not something that Elements can control. Expect longer ship times with International orders as they have to go through Customs (again, not something that Elements can control). If you need your order by a specific date, please choose a UPS option or Expedited service as those provide guaranteed services. (USPS Priority is NOT an expedited option).

Only UPS options offer guaranteed ship times and tracking numbers. If you don't see your country listed here, please contact us so that we can review adding it. Insurance is required on international shipments so as to protect both the customer & Elements in the event that your package is lost or damaged.

INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS
Please be advised that if you (the customer) provide us (Elements) with an incorrect shipping address, or if you request a reroute of your package, UPS will assess a $10 service fee. Whether you make an error when the order is placed or if a request for an address change is made after the order ships, the customer will be responsible to pay this fee. If Elements makes an error when generating your shipping label, we will be responsible to pay the fee.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS / WEEKLY SPECIALS
In order to expedite orders as quickly and efficiently as possible, we have implemented an Order Cancellation/Change Policy. Any order that is Canceled within one (1) hour of Order Date/Time will be free of any Payment Processing Cancellation Fee and/or Restocking Fee. Any order Canceled after the one (1) hour time frame will be assessed a Processing Cancellation Fee of 15% of the subtotal of your order.
Please be certain of what you are ordering prior to completing your order. If you request a change to your order, we will make every effort to make the adjustment, but cannot guarantee that change requests will be honored due to the fact that we prepare & ship as quickly as possible.
Orders cannot be canceled or changed so as to take advantage of weekly specials promoted from one week to another (the 1 hour time-frame does not apply). In fairness to all customers, we will not adjust invoices for discounts and promotions that were not in effect at the time your order was placed.

PRODUCT TESTING
Individual product testing is always recommended to determine compatibility with your products. Most customers initially order in small quantities prior to making a large purchase. We cannot be responsible for incompatibility of your products with ours.

RETURN POLICY
Returns must be requested by email or phone within 5 days after your shipment has been received & the products must still be in usable/resalable condition. Returns will only be accepted in unopened, original packaging. If uncertain about a product, we recommend choosing the smallest quantity available when placing your first order. It is the responsibility of the customer to thoroughly test products before use. Customer is responsible to pay all return shipping costs & when we receive the returned merchandise, we will refund either your credit card or Paypal account for the subtotal of the product minus 15% restocking fee. This fee covers the administrative time involved in handling a return... accepting the returned goods, modifying the invoice, adding that product back into inventory, bank/Paypal fees already assessed to Elements, & emails or phone calls involved w/the customer. We do not offer exchanges, but you are welcome to place a new order online for the items you prefer. We do not supply return ship labels unless an error was made when we shipped the order, so it is the responsibility of the customer to ship the items back using their preferred carrier. For sanitary reasons, we cannot accept returns of lotion pumps, sprayers, pipettes, herbs, botanicals, essential oils, flavor oils, fragrance oils, bases, carrier oils & butters, any raw ingredients, or clearance/discontinued items.� Elements has the right to change this return policy at any time & may choose to not accept any item for return at any time.�
