Tutorial: How to Properly Melt African Black Soap
African Black Soap (Ose Dudu) has been prized for centuries for its natural healing properties. This gentle soap is highly sought after because of the lore surrounding its healing properties of skin conditions. Used for cleaning skin, hair, and even the dishes! It lathers beautifully, helps detoxify the skin and is so gentle on the body.
African Black Soap is wonderful to use as-is. Just slice a bar and use. But, giving it time to cure will increase its life in the bath and its lathering ability. Slice into bars and leave in the open air to cure for six weeks.
Or, melt as instructed, add fragrance, and pour into soap molds. (Instructions included w/purchase).
DO NOT attempt to melt this soap on stovetop. The soap will separate, create a gloppy mess & have to be discarded.
Appearance: Unscented, Exfoliating African Black Soap is dark gray. Sold in uneven blocks that can be cut into bars or chopped up and melted.
